Good Mexican on South Shore of Mass
do yourselves a favor..make the trek down to
Taunton 138/44 on the Taunton green..my
favorite--El Mariachi. Been there plenty of times
without ever a bad meal. I swear I have no
connection :) I just really like the food
Owners/family is from West coast mx near
Acapulco so it's not cancunish with bad
seafood. Service is good, language a slight
put off but go, you'll love it

Bayside, and am looking for some
decent, inexpensive recommendations,
in particular, for breakfast.....diner type
food.
I will have a car, but walking is cool too

Seeking Portuguese South of Boston
For great Portuguese (particularly if you're new to the cuisine) try Adega on Rivet St. or Cafe Funchal on Church St. Both classy places with milder flavors, great portions both in New Bedford. Also Fall River try Sagres or Allianca for cuisine like my mom's

Seafood Allergy in NOLA
OK--- bringing wife to FQ for anniversary. It's her first time in New Orleans and I want to give her a great experience like I had when I worked there in 2000. I haven't been since then, however, she is allergic and cannot eat seafood. (shellfish, really, but she won't touch any seafood) I am looking for a romantic place for dinner,, doesn't have to been fancy or pricey, just intimate, cute.... She's half Italian half Portuguese so....pastas or steaks are both great options......and good wines.....or martinis also good options. I appreciate your suggestions, can't wait to get down there.
