Orlando Suggestions?
Salt Island on Sand Lake and International Drive behind the dunkin donuts is my favorite place. The scallop appetizer and steaks/crab legs are amazing.
On Sand Lake "restaurant row" Moon Fish is great sea bass, steak, and the calamari are to die for, The Vines (jazz restaurant) you have to try the crab cakes, and Bonefish bang bang shrimp is delicious.
These are all near the convention center.
Orlando Steak Recap- Vitos Chophouse & Ruth's Chris
I went to Vito's and agreed the steak was nothing special for the price and the service was horrible!! I like Moonfish on Sandlake and Salt Island on I-drive.
Rec Needed Orlando, UCF area
Best Italian in the area is Papa Gio's in Avalon Park. They have a sports bar/ italian rest/ pizza place/ and chinese place all connected. You can order off any menu and the food it delicious. I usually sit at the bar and order garlic knots and pizza. It's all the way down Alafaya make a right into Avalon Park and it's at the end of the first little strip on the right. You won't be disappointed.
Vegan in Boston
I'm visiting Boston this weekend and am a strick Vegan. I am looking for any suggestions for places to eat. I'm staying on the south side! Thanks!
Brio! Tuscan Grill
I love BRIO for apps the beef carpaccio and the crab and artichokke dip are awesome-- they also have a great chopped salad and the lasagna is to die for. The steaks are also great.
Food and Wine festival '07 @ Disney's EPCOT, Orlando, FL
I just went on Saturday and it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! We paid $75.00 each to get in and no they don't offer a Florida residents discount on one day tickets. Then you have to pay for each sample. The samples ranged from $4-10 each and for each country you pay for food and wine seperately so you spend about $15 at each stand and there are 35 stands. The only food i tried was the escargo from France and it was $4.50 and delicious. You got 3 pasteries with escargo in them and my last one wasn't cleaned properly and was filled with sand which is disgusting. The samples are not really enough to fill you up and the sample beer and wine were in about 8oz cups. I will never go again.
Upcoming Orlando Trip
Citrus is a new place on Orange Ave, it's a little upscale but i've heard it is delicious. Something more low key would be El Pescatore on East Colonial and Primrose is more casual and has the best italian food.
I've found the best pizza in Orlando!
Papa Gio's in Avalon Park-- NY style with the best sauce, and the crust is amazing.
Tip calculator at the bottom of the bill...?
The reason they do this is because most people tip like shit or not at all. It's kind of a reminder that you need to tip!
Waterfront dining in Orlando
Houston's in Winter Park--great waterfront rest. Has a dock with benches and chairs you can bring a bottle of wine out there while waiting for a table. Foos is delicious best prime rib i've ever had.

SLUSH PUPPIES
Does anyone know where to get a slush puppy in the Orlando area or where to buy one? I've looked on e-bay but the shipping is super expensive ($350+). The Slush puppy is going to make a come back-- you heard it here first!
