Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas ranks. Several meals created by friends rank. Specific items all over the world can't be noted so easily here. Once I had a soup somewhere in the south of France in 1986 that still ranks in my memory but who knows where it was or how it was made. I am sure that a gorgonzola at the base of a shallow bowl with an outstandingly well developed broth was central to the dish. Every risotto A---- ever made out of nothing in Bologne was outstanding. I have a specific list of salads accumulated in my mind. Once a salad I made came on to this list. Who can delimit this reply in a box. I could go on and on and on. I am living in somewhat of a culinary oasis at present; hence, I am hungry but I am always in search of something good.
