Where can I find some good sweet strawberries? THe best I have found so far was from the 99 cent store. I have tried costco's, vons, Bristol Farms and none of them were that good.

Classic Grille on Manchester
I have gone through their drive through and gotten their breakfast a few times, but how are their lunch and dinner items? It is close and convenient to me.
Also, on Manchester on the south side of the road somewhere there use to be a bar...it was under construction and now something else is there. ANyone know what it is? When I drive by it looks like it says G S on their doors, but there isn't a sign outside.
Also, I see that there is going to be a Roscoe's Chicken on Manchester going West. It is before you get to the 405.

I use to live close to Hu's and I tried it numerous dishes, but was never able to really like it. In my opinion, it was barely edible. I would normally just order delivery from Fu's Palace instead.

I agree with Havania Mania, but go on Tuesday evening when they actually roast the pork. That is when you will get the pork skin
McCormick and Schmicks in El Segundo has a new happy hourmenu.. Only this location.
This location just started a new menu for happy hour. They still have some of the same things, like the cheeseburger and fries for $2.95,BBQ Chicken sticks for $1.95, fried zucchini for $1.95, but have added ahi tacos, fried mac and cheese balls, pulled pork sliders and ahi tostadas , which are $3.95 to $4.95. I recommend you give it a try.

I just got back staying a few days in Cambria with my boyfriend. We went there to do some wine tasting. My favorite winery so far is Wild Horse. We ate at 3 restaurants. Linn's, Artisan and Pine Creek Lodge. All 3 was really good.

McCormick and Schmicks in El Segundo
The bf and I went to McCormicks and Schmicks today in El Segundo today. We always go and eat in the bar. They had something new today. Every Sunday from 11-4, at least during football season, they have like a happy hour menu. There is like 6-8 different things, one being the cheeseburger and fries for $2.95. What is really good about it is that these are regular size portions. We ordered the Wasabi chicken skewers, the cheese and jalapeno quesadilla and the fried zucchini, which was really good. They also had fried calamari, a bbq chicken pizza, some kind of clams and a few others things. There are a few drinks that are on the menu also. Some of the food was $1.95, $2.95 and $3.95. I dont think it got any more expensive than $3.95. I think some of the drinks were $5.95. I just wanted to share this good deal with you all.

I have tried to like Hu's! I live real close to Hu's and have given it many tries but I think it is horrible. The only thing that I have found edible there is the sauteed asparagus. When I want decent chinese, I order take out from Fu's Palace.

Yeah, I have gotten pizza from Momma's before. It wasn't bad. I walked to El Nopal once and got tacos. I didn't care for them. I don't think Simpang delivers, but I walk there and get carry out at times.

If you are willing to pay delivery charge, LAbite.com has many restaurants for delivery. The thing that sucks is that delivery charge is approx $6 and then there is the tip. Just depends on how badly you want it :)
