The Chicago based The Reed Candy Company was once bought out by Amurol Confections (Big League Chew, Bubble Tape), which was then aquired by Wrigley's.

Northern Westchester AKA Chowhound wasteland!
A pizza place in Croton-on-Hudson, called CAPRICCIO'S II makes the best Italian fare in Westchester ... and pizza.
VEGGIE SANDWICH
TEMPO PRESTO (on 5th ave in Park Slope, Brooklyn) makes the best veggie option sandwich I've ever had anywhere.
The SICILIAN CHICKPEA PANELLE (with fresh ricotta cheese, cracked black pepper, sun-dried tomoato relish on a brioche roll).
Any other good ones?

OCEAN HOUSE Oyster Bar & Grill in Croton, NY is a gem.
At 49 Riverside Ave, used to a be a old dinner shaped like a train's caboose.
Perfect portions and fresh local ingredients.
I think the number is 914.271.0702, you can call and see how busy they are, I don't think they take reservation as there is limited seating.
I also think it's BYOB.
Wonderful place.
Favorite IPAs?
Sixpoint Craft Ales' BENGALI TIGER IPA, it's on cask at The Spotted Pig in NYC. Can't beat that with a stick (or hops vine).
Red Cat, Cookshop or What?
