Thanks guys! Chow is a great idea - we have been there, but I never noticed the salads (must not have been in the mood that day) will definitely try it for salads. I have never really been a fan of CPK or Chili's, but Pyramid might be another option too. Thanks!
Dinner Salads East Bay (Walnut Creek)
I am looking for a place to get substantive dinner salads in the East Bay, preferably near Walnut Creek. We are craving a roasted chicken salad from our old standby restaurant in Virginia - mixed greens with roasted chicken, roasted corn, dates, pine nuts, tomato, and goat cheese with a champagne vinaigrette... yum.... we have yet to find anywhere here that has great salads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

We like Sunrise Bistro (www.sunrisebistrocatering.com) and they serve espresso drinks - I have never had anything but a latte, but have enjoyed the lattes. You can also get a hearty breakfast at The Original Hick'ry Pit/Emil Villa's at 1495 S Main St
Walnut Creek, CA 94596. I don't think they serve espresso, but you can have smoked turkey in your omlette and then stop at Pacific Bay Coffee Co at 1495 Newell Avenue. Walnut Creek, CA 94596 for your espresso. (I have never been, but have heard good things re Pacific Bay.)
