I have reservations there on Friday; but am a bit afraid that i will expect a Komi experience and will be disappointed because i have read so many things about it being much more "traditional". But you said inventiveness and playfulness---I like that! We would probably do some kind of tasting menu. i love not having to worry about ordering since i love nearly everything; it's hard to go wrong with the chef serving me his masterpiece as he sees fit.

QUESTION: So, i have been to KOMI and am in love with it! So, now looking for restaurant that will equally impress me as i don't want to compare but ..I am human and probably will. I was debating between Restaurant Eve and Citronelle? Any thoughts?

I hands down agree!!!! I took a date there and we are huge FOOD fans! Service is stellar and they KNOW how to capture the essence of food!

This is a great blog! The food looks amazing. They talk about how they recycle their leftovers into something even more outrageous! Best of all, they seem to use alot from their garden, local markets...her husband catches fish and they had different cuts of meat from the deer he hunted...makes you appreciate the entire process. Wholistic cooking!
