I can second the Inn at Montchanin, although I live local to it. My firm has put many out-of-town attorneys there ( and if you don't think that THEY are high-maintenance and picky, you've never worked with attorneys, lol!), my friend and I go there every Saturday for breakfast and I've been to the spa many times. A generally nice place.

Count me (and my friends and my family) in with those who will avoid the place. I refuse to reward sh*tty behavior with my business. Far too many other places who treat their customers with respect to waste time and money here.

Please, broach away! My understanding wrt an Ulster Fry v. a Fry up is that there are potato farls in the Ulster Fry rather than toast. I've never had a full Scottish breakfast. Would love to try one. :-)

Leo & Jimmy's is an old downtown Wilmington favorite. If it is still open, they do great Liverwurst sandwiches.

I have heard good things about Ioannoni's on Basin Road (aka 141) but have never been there.
