Chicago style pizza (Scottsdale)

No. Spinatos does not do the "stuffed" deep dish style. I don't know of anyone that does that besides Oregano's out this way. HMM? does Nello's still offer a stuffed? It has been years since I checked.

Spinatos offers a thin crust or a thicker crust pizza (not quite a sicilian, IMHO). They have been around for over 30 years and were originally called Aurelios (located back then off Mcdowell rd in South Scottsdale). I can't recall the affiliations (just a kid back then) but, I know they were connected to the Aurelio's pizza of the Chicago area. If you eat there or eat at the stores here, the recipes still taste the same.

ISO The Politically Incorrect Champagne Sunday Brunch

Talking Stick Casino has a brunch that some people really enjoy. I happen to like T.Cook's brunch. The only other one I have heard of where you might still get unlimited champagne at an added price is Rita's Kitchen at the Camelback Inn.

good bbq (PHX)

I love Joe's Real BBQ. It is one of my favorites. My other favorite is ONLY available at LUNCH. If you ever are in the area at lunch time, try The Barbecue Company off 36th street below Roeser in Phoenix. The have great brisket, ribs and, an amazing bleu cheese cole slaw!

Visiting chef in need of help finding specialty food stores

You could also try House of Rice in Scottsdale for some of your ingredients. Although they tend to be more geared to Japanese and Indonesian in the packaged items, they do have a small selection of fresh herbs and spices and include lemongrass. The bok choy should be available through Whole Foods.

Although it is a bit of a drive from Biltmore, I agree Lee Lee and Mekong have the best overall selection when it comes to Asian markets.
