The sort of new Le Bistro d a' Cote-1st and 83rd has jazz 2 nights a week-Thurs and ?. I dont think you can see/hear the performers from the bar. So you'll sit at a nearby table.

Where To Buy Curing Salt, A.K.A. "Pink Salt" In NYC
There's a new salt store on Hudson St. in the West Village. (Just south of Charles St.) All of their salt is pink but I dont know if it is used for curing.

Yes, I believe that is the same place. I've gone there twice for their prix fixe which includes 2 lb lobsters and the food was very god.
