Manhattan for three days - questions

Thanks to all who replied here, and as it turned out, I never went anywhere near a food truck. There was just too much else to do for me to be going chasing around the city to find them.

Did spend an evening at Cannibal on East 29th Street (I think), which was really good if you like craft beers from Europe and the US. Friends took me to Pain Quotidien for brunch, really great fresh food.

Manhattan for three days - questions

Managed to squeeze in a long weekend in Manhattan for the first time in a few years. Staying in Midtown, coming in from outside the country.

One of the things I would like to do is try some of the food trucks that I see on Cooking Channel. Which ones would people recommend?

Breakfast - I am staying in a hotel, but want to get out and try different places for breakfast. Any particularly well-liked places that members would suggest?

Kicthen supply stores. If I want to stock up on a whole range of decent stuff, where should I go?

Need suggestions in *gulp* Staffordshire

When visiting relatives in Stafford, they always say "ooh, let's go out for a meal". I have a very limited knowledge of where is good to eat in the area, and the places we seem to go never seem to be that fantastic.

The Hand and Cleaver and The Yew Tree near Stafford have both closed since I was last there. The Fox at Newport is pretty good the couple of times I have been there for lunches.

Is there anywhere within an evening's drive of Stafford that poeple can recommend?

Bermuda Eats

Bah, meant to say BARRACUDA is more likely to have local dishes out of the two (Bistro J and Barracuda).

Bermuda Eats

Some other suggestions that have not been made yet. Bistro J in Hamilton is a little place on a picturesque alley between Front Street and Reid Street. The menu changes daily, and it's all good stuff. Barracuda Grill is above the Hogpenny Pub in Hamilton as well, and they have a slight more upscale menu than Bistro J.

Hogpenny is more likely to have some 'Bermudian' dishes on the menu, out of the two.
