I'd be interested to read your thoughts on Lisa's book. I, too, got it from the library. The recipes definitely worked for me but I was not impressed with the taste of the cakes. If you had a positive experience, I would give that book another try. Thank you

Based on this thread I bought a copy of this book for $1.99. I see striking similarities in her brownie recipe to similar recipes by Alice Medrich. I am looking forward to baking from this book. Thanks

I only made one of her recipes, the zucchini loaf with apricots and dates. It was a nice change from other zucchini recipes I have tried. However, it was labor-intensive for a quick bread. The people I served it to liked it and one person asked for the recipe.
