On the Way Cafe in Rye NY

A big thank you goes to all the board members who recommended On the Way Cafe in Rye NY on the right only a block before Rye Playland. It's a true foodie's paradise and one you might easily overlook because of its unassuming exterior. We just spent five days in the area over the Thanksgiving Day weekend and ate there four times! Not only is the food very good - well-prepared from high quality ingredients - but Chris, the waiter, was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. We had three breakfasts and one lunch there and I was impressed with the following: thicker, great-tasting bacon, Thomas' English muffins (not a cheaper substitute), lively-seasoned yummy hash browns, a wonderful omelet with a plentiful carmelized onions and bacon filling enwrapped by the egg (not how I expected it to come but a delightful surprise), delish sausage links, eggs cooked precisely as we ordered (every time), creative lunch menu, salads with very fresh baby greens, and deliciously seasoned and crispy French Fries. All this at very reasonable prices - $9.95 for a huge, complex salad and $6.95 for a full breakfast of two eggs any way you like 'em, sausage, ham or bacon, hash browns and toast, crusty roll or English muffin. You won't go away hungry! The new owner is a delightful young woman by the name of Ashley O'Brien. She's just celebrating her first year in business. Keep it up, Ashley, you're doing everything right!

What happened to Renaissance patisserie in Larchmont?

Yes, Renaissance was amazing - and reasonably priced too. I'm from out of town, so could you tell me exactly where in Scarsdale Lulu's is located? Couldn't find it the one time I tried several years ago. Also, how do I get to Kneaded Bread? Parking in Portchester? Thanks so much!

What happened to Renaissance patisserie in Larchmont?

Anyone know what happened to Renaissance? We only visit once a year and loved the place. Have they moved or gone out of business? Are there any comparable replacements within 30 minutes driving distance from Larchmont?

Good eats (not lobster) in Midcoast maine?

Going up the coast later this week from Wiscasset to Blue Hills area, may daytrip to MDI and Bar Harbor. Are there any good lunch, coffeehouse/bakery, deli or takeout places that I should definitely not miss. Two priorities: terrific food and reasonable (even cheap) prices.
