Chula Vista: Pho Hiep & Grill

Is this place still open? I've been looking for Pho in Chula Vista, but afraid it won't be as good as the ones I've tried by Kearny Mesa.

Sit down Mexican in Chula Vista

I know you're looking for a place to sit down at, but TJ Oyster Bar in Chula Vista is good. Not the best for families, because it's so small and usually very busy. But, if you're looking for something to go, then I'd recommend. I've heard Don Pedro's is good, but I haven't had their lunch or dined in. Usually get their pozole to go, but you might want to check them out online.

Weekday Lunches in Chula Vista

It is! I'm completely addicted to that place! Also, forgot to mention on J and Broadway Joe and Ernie's pizzeria, delicious. Plus, they have pretty good salads and you can order in advance or they deliver. My favorite place for a quick lunch.

National City Chula Vista - Vast foodie wasteland?

Funny you posted this, I was just talking about that with a friend the other day. The problem is, people are not willing to try new things, that's why so many good restaurants that open up close up so fast. Cheaper and quicker lunches like fast food chains are certainly not having a problem in the South Bay, though there is plenty of good restaurants. I live in Chula Vista, and I'm always looking for small restaurants that offer great food, so far I've heard of La Querencia in Chula Vista, Talaveras ( I think that's the name), TY Oyster Bar, Don Pedro's, El Pescador, and a few others I will post as soon as I remember. Don Pedro's pozole is the best I've had besides my grandmother's, I've heard their breakfast is delicious. Also, for pizza joints Joe and Ernie's is delicious, if you're looking for something quicker and on the go.

Weekday Lunches in Chula Vista

Your vegetarian friend doesn't eat meat? Does that apply to seafood? If it does then you can leave him/her at work and go to TJ Oyster Bar in Bonita. It's east from where you are located, but you can order in advance, take the 54 E exit off the 805 for a quicker route. Their seafood is amazing. Make sure you order in advance or you'll be stuck there for at least 30mins. they're always busy. Shrimp cocktails, fish tacos, and their tostadas are delicious!

San Diego New Places Opening

Joe and Ernie's Pizzeria is opening up a second location in Eastlake, where Target is at. Their first location is in Chula Vista off Broadway between J and K I believe... Pizza is amazing there.
