Great recs hounders!
Thanks, a bit off subject but do cocktail lounges such as Death & Co, PDT, Pegu etc take resos for 4 people. Assume they all have food or snacks of some sort.
Hi all looking to take a japenese client to lunch of Friday. Would like a casual place that has great Ramen, Yakitori and or Sushi. If possible would like a recos for place in Japantown and outside.
Saturday in the WV will probably want lunch since we doing a brunch on Sunday. For Saturday evening really open to any cuisine but don't want to spend a lot of money because it will probably be a quick meal before the show. Its the Schubert Theater, not sure of the exact address 44th around 6th? As far as price $25pp not including tax, tip and beverage. Monday, Clinton St Bakery sounds good and then a lunch somewhere as we explore lower east side and EV.
We are here for about 5 days and the following is sort of our plan for that time. We would appreciate any suggestions or recos that would make our food trip even more enjoyable. We like all types of food.
Thursday evening open
Friday lunch: Bar Bouloud
Saturday breakfast lunch open will be in the WV
Sunday brunch: Minneta Tavern
Monday breakfast, lunch open will be in EV
Tuesday lunch: Bar room at Modern
We don t have res for Saturday so will probably have to find something close to the theater. Any thoughts on lunch in WV and EV was thinking along the lines of Ino, Spotted Pig, Johns on Bleeker or Blind Tiger. While in the east village was thinking along the lines of Katz,Momofuku Saam, Xian Famous foods, or Caracas
Thanks for any help
