any good restaurants in North Park of San Diego?

I'm in Del Mar for a few days, but would like to go to North Park where I lived as a kid. I know it's no longer a great area, but understand there are good restaurants there. Please help. Thanks

Del Mar coast to La Jolla good food

We will be staying in Del Mar and taking drives, daily south. We love really GOOD food, but cannot spend mega bucks on dining. Do you have any ideas where we would really enjoy the food regardless of the view-ambiance? Thanks so much

Does anyone know where to buy a great bialy in West LA?

I've been buying bialys in New York for years. I fell in love with bialy's especially from Murry's Stergeon Shop, and have been ordering them from them for years, but it's just too expensive now, and I'd like to find them here on the West side, if possible. I frequent Santa Monica, Beverly Hlls, Venice, Culver City and even West Hollywood -- so if anyone has a suggestion I'd appreciate it.

Many thanks

great pizza in west l.a - yes. it's true.

Even after trying this "pizza place" last night, I still don't know it's name. However, it was a very good pizza. Thin crust with a bit of chew, and not overwhelmed with cheese. Good! I'm talking about the pizza place on the South East corner of Santa Monica and Sepulveda.

Is there good bread to be had in the West LA area?

I frequent SM, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Culver City mostly. I usually buy San Louis Sour dough bread, or La Brea bread at the grocery store, but I am looking for good Artesian bread from a bakery. Also good croissants. Can anyone help me or is there a thread I should read?

Thanks so much.
