Best meal I ever ate:
Homemade tostadas with all the veggies & yarbs fresh from the garden.
My current drink of choice:
Bluegrass Brewing's Dark Star Porter
I really wish I could:
Catch more fish.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Fresh trout, a fish rack, some oil and a brush, dry kindlin' and a lighter.
My favorite comfort food:
Pea soup, but now I've got this thing for homemade focaccia and pizza.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Local Mexican places who accomodate my efforts to converse in Spanish; and Chinese places which tolerate my pathetic attempts to communicate in their curious dialect. Fujinhou. No one you would know.
My most tattered cookbooks:
St. Irma's "Joy," Wallaces' "Mexican Cookbook," and "Glorious Garlic" by Charlene Braida. But these are all paperbacks.
