Best Eats in North Beach/Telegraph Hill - Just moved!!

So I am moving to the North Beach/Telegraph Hill area in San Francisco (around Broadway and Columbus). This is the first time I've actually lived in this city, and was wondering what the best local eats are. I'm obviously being broad because I want to know a few of the must try spots regardless of type in the area.

Any suggestions are welcome, from high brow dining, to hole-in-the-wall eateries, from thai to italian.

Thanks again for helping me out and happy eating!

Need a nice restaurant that can accommodate 9 in Boston...Tips?

Something in the vein of Craigie on Main would be nice. Tried to get a reservation there, however they were pretty booked. I know it's somewhat expensive there but I love the food and the atmosphere. Any similar types? I know I'm still kind of vague but any suggestions would help.

Need a nice restaurant that can accommodate 9 in Boston...Tips?

I need to make a reservation at a mid-priced restaurant in Boston in mid May. There will be 9 people in total. Any suggestions for a good atmosphere, somewhat casual and strong cuisine? I'd prefer if it wasn't a stuffy setting like L'Espalier (and that's a little on the pricey side).

Thanks for your help!
