We just got back from a 5-day trip to Sedona. Try out Mesa Grill on top of Airport Mesa. We had 2 nice breakfasts and a nice "ladies night" appetizer dinner there. Eggs Ranchero -- yummy! Loverly decor and wonderful scenery, too. You can watch the planes take off and land. Stayed two nights at Garland's Oak Creek Lodge -- felt really pampered and the food was exquisite! Can't wait to go back. |

What Foods Do You Hate/Dislike that Most Hounds Probably Love? Goat cheese . . . which makes it very difficult to order salad in an upscale restaurant. C'mon, chefs, quit being so tribal and expand your cheese repertoire! |

Need dinner recs near Broadway Playhouse and Second City We are taking in some Chicago Theater this weekend (Working and Second City) and would like recommendations for restaurants near the Broadway Playhouse for Saturday night and Second City for Sunday night. Don't want to go too pricey, but could go nicer for Saturday night. Also, how much time should we give ourselves for dinner -- 2 hours? Thanks! |

If you want memorable, I second Niche on Sydney Street (Brasserie, not so much). The food is elegant and edgy. Also around the corner is Sydney Street Cafe -- a tad more traditional, but just as excellent. Bring your $$ for both, but difinitely worth it. Make reservations and you need to take a cab. ----- |
