ISO - Business Lunch near the Sheraton

Actually I was trying to think of steak houses that are unique to Seattle. Ruth's, Capital and Morton's are all chains found in every large city in the country although they each have very good food!

Indian food in Bellevue/Newcastle

Since the OP first posted six years ago, I'll bet he can give us some tips on good Indian food in Bellevue and Newcastel. Are you still hanging around the board, Trevor? Your suggestions six years after the fact?

ISO - Business Lunch near the Sheraton

The Brooklyn or Metropolitan Steak House. Both will take a little longer than the average lunch, but if these are important clients or prospects, you can't go wrong with either.

New York hound looking for recommendations in Seattle

I haven't found any Mexican food in the greater Seattle area that I would claim "the best I've ever had". I was raised in Arizona, however, and frequently had homemade tamales, rellenos and other foods made by friends grandmas.

Seattle's seafood, OTOH, is among the best I have ever eaten.

Crush, S&S or Tilth?

I personally find Crush overrated. I'd try S&S for a truly good meal. Welcome back to Seattle, OCAnn!

Local Flavor?

Any place serving wild Pacific king salmon. It's much better than Atlantic salmon. You might want to find out what Local 360 is serving while you're here.

Two days for a solo walking/diner near Pike's

Place Pigalle and Maximillians both have phenomenal views of the Sound and both are right in The Market next to Don and Joe's Meats. Restaurant Zoe is also very good and very walkable from the Edgewater. Cafe Campagne offers good food as well. As Thiebaud points out Chez Shea and Local 360 are very good as is Bisato.

Enjoy your stay in our city!

Sushi and sesame. Allergic conundrums.

I'm allergic to honey and if I have it, it's a guaranteed trip to the ER. I've found most restos are very willing to work with any of us. If her allergies get much worse, avoid those places you know she can't go. Simple.

New York hound looking for recommendations in Seattle

Well guys, my bet is the NY foodie has been here and left since his/her original post was 4/11 and he/she said they would be in town "next week".

So, Adamw, where did you eat?

Eating my way through Seattle

Great resto reviews, Ben! I agree with most, although I would have put Serious Pie in the seriously good category.

Thanks for bringing us up to date with your info!

Restaurant recs

I was just at Al Porto in Gastown on Saturday night. Food and service were terrific and well priced to say the least!

Seattle Chef Lou Kohl

I don't think I've heard of this guy, Leper. Where does he cook?
