Greek Recipes - what goes with dolmades?
When I make dolmades at home I serve them as a main dish.....On the table there is always a plate with Feta cheese and olives. We have a serving of protein and it can be, pork chops, lemon chicken, kalamarakia and a salad...
Anyone going to Greece??
I would love to hear about the food you enjoyed and where.
Did you experiment or did you go for the popular greek recipes?

Restaurant Recommendations Please
For a tottaly diferent experience try Trninty Greek but very interesting.
I had lamb and my husband pork very delicious but too much, they sell by the pound like they do in Greece.
The fish looked inviting that's what Iam going to have next time.
The restaurant reminds you of A Greek monastery, with the curves and the Greek architecture, the colors of the Greek islands and the icons on the walls it really takes you there.
I think it is something to experience in Montreal, reservations a must, very big place in the heart of the city but very popular.
Santorini, Mykonos, and Rhodes "must not miss"
Peter I agree with you 100 % Kioupia in Rhodes is an amazing experience.
I realy forgot about this place or I was thinking more in terms of the city, it is a little out of the way, actually you have to know about the place and ask, otherwise no way to find it on your own.
I loved everything about Kioupia the food beyond compare, the setting of the restaurant very romantic,a cave like experience and the service so calm and relaxing,!!!!!!!!
I beleive there was another in Athens in Kifisia i looked for it in Apil but they had moved I wish I new were.
Cuts of Beef in Greek
Yes psaronefri is pork tenderloin but never order it in a restaurant in Greece, you never get tenderloin, you get another cut of pork but not tenderloin.
I love tenderloin and i use it very often with my guests, and there are many ways to cook it but in Greece i find it can loose it's tenderness in the wrong hands.www.hummingbirdpublications.com

First time in Athens! Looking for some fun restaurant ideas
Greece is a culinary paradiso`
Psiris area not very far from Plaka is very popular with the Greek yuppies.
Tavernas with live music and the food is great,if the locals are part of the picture you know the food is good.
In Kolonaki a very trendy area a place called Dakos offers Cretan cuisine also very good.
Just remember if the locals like a place you can't go wromg, not in Greece anyway.
