A fun place to eat for a rowdy, loud group of 6, approx. $20-$30 per entree? Good drinks=IMPORTANT!

Public House at the Venetian if the group is a more refined and Señor Frog’s at Treasure Island if not.

Questions about L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon cost and seating options

If you're looking for 50 pp inclusive for dinner, with a party of 6 you'll also be charge an automatic gratuity estimate 20% and tax 8.1%. Just something you may not have anticipated. So, your $50 for dinner is really about $38, Lunch 23 and the big dinner $77.

Some places I'd recommend are Mon Ami Gabi, outdoor patio facing Las Vegas Blvd and the Bellagio fountains at the Paris Hotel (you can sit outside in LV in March). Good for either Lunch or Dinner First come first serve for the patio. Milos, which you have the original in Toronto has a great $20, 3 course lunch special. Spago at the Forum shops is Vegas' original fine dining spot. Either the cafe out front or the restaurant for dinner. Bouchon too, for either lunch, brunch or dinner is excellent. Olives at the Bellagio is good too.

For dinner, you could do B&B and that level of Vegas restaurant but, at that caliber restaurant many main courses are in the $35-40 range which already exceeds your budget. If you want to experience those places the pre-theater dinner specials are available in many restaurants for $49 or less but tax and tip will be additional. The one at American Fish at Aria is excellent. Have a great trip!

Dining Options in Henderson

For a more casual place, try Shakespeare's Pub. It's a nice laid back English style pub (790 Coronado Center.) SushiWa is also in the same strip mall and has very good sushi.

LV restaurant week 2011

The wife and I enjoyed the restaurant week special this weekend. The room is unique with the bubble chandelier. Couldn't get a reservation until 9 pm the same day but, as usual with so many restaurants, they were far from sold out when we arrived. Service throughout was good.

Appetizers: Foie gras ($5 surcharge) - superb (how can you go wrong.) Crab salad - just ok.

Mains: Braised beef - OMG! Absolutely FANTASTIC. I've personally braised many different cuts many times and I always think I do a superb job… how wrong I've been. This was by far the most tender, flavorful piece of braised beef I've ever eaten. Lobster curry ($49 regular menu price - $10 surcharge) - Good. Lobster was tender, almost tasted as if it had been poached in butter and it wasn’t spicy but it was still flavorful nonetheless.

Desserts: Cheesecake with sorbet - above par. Mix candy bar with caramel ice cream - a little disappointing but still good.

Overall we enjoyed the entire meal and experience. It was certainly a value to experience it during restaurant week. I’m not sure if we’d repeat for the regular menu or the restaurant week special however, I'm glad I went and I will never forget the spectacular braised beef.

Has anyone been to Bar Massa during restaurant week? I’d love to know how yor experience was.

Henderson Italian

Bratalian just opened in Henderson recently. The chef is Carla Pelligrino who used to run Rao's and has ventured out on her own after a divorce. The food is very very good. Also very good is Gaetano's. Both are on Eaastern Avenue and short distance from each other.
