Oceanairre is the best I've ever had, anywhere! Romantic might not be the best word to describe it, but ask for a nice quiet table and it should do the trick. |

Any Good New Restaurant In MPLS? Hell's kitchen isn't new, neither is cosmos. |

How was the Bank? Never been. Too bad you missed Dakota for the music, it's great! |

Downtown at hotel Minneapolis looking for suggestions...steak one night Glad you had good meals here! I haven't been to Murray's for a while, I need to get back there! So I have a friend from Souix Falls, and he says that "The Keg" has the best friend chicken on the planet. If you see it try it !! I can't confirm, i've never been, but I have wanted to go to south dakota for years to try it :) |

Want to eat and watch Gold Cup games! Joe Sensor bars usually have about every sport playing on their tv's. You could try calling them to make sure! |

I have seen quite a few suggestions about black sheep pizza. I was wondering what kind of pizza it is (thin or thick crust style, woodburning oven, etc). Where is it located? Is there more than one? I would like to try it! |

I really enjoy D Brians deli. They have a load of options (sadwiches, soups salads). I like the wild rice soup and their chili. I usually do a wrap with turkey and avacodo, or a grilled cheese (I know boring but tasty with some tomato soup). I avoid the place between 11:45 and 1 though, they have some real slowwwwww workers and half of them really dont' understand much english. If you go during that time be ready for a line, and a slow one at that. There is another sammy place called Camiles (i forget the building it's in but its around 5th and marquette). It has great soups as well and the sandwiches are pretty unique and tasty. |

So no fried chicken yet i take it? They better change that fast IMO |
|

Yup for sure, not having fried foods and other "unhealthy" options is going to kill them IMO. There was another competitor something like Angels and Demons, with basically a healthy and an unhealthy option for each item (IE, baked and friend chicken). Yes people like healthy food, but honestly more people out there like unhealthy food lol. My biggest surprise is that the "investors" (stone, flay, chipotle guy, etc) didn't make sure they had these unhealthy options. I thought these guys knew the restaurant business. |

Thanks for sharing. This is basically why I wont go to a place first day open, I'm sure they dont have their $*%# together yet. I guess I'll prolly wait a couple weeks and give it a shot. Good marketing to do that show first really when you think about it. |

Dad's getting married in Fridley area. Recs. for caterer? I think a lot of restaurants can cater. Buca's has trucks for it I've seen and I would bet that many of the non-chain places in downtown would cater Fridley. Try calling a few of your favorite places! |

I watched the show and am pretty excited to try it. I will probably hit it sometime this week. I would be shocked if they dont have fried chicken at SOME point. I think if they can make a good fried chicken they will have some nice sales from it ;) |

I heard crave was going downtown to the old Palamino location. Does anyone know when they are opening? |

Roast Beef: Maverick's vs. Wally's or other? There is a sandwich shop in Eden Prairie called Bakers Ribs. I had an EXCELLENT roast beef sandwich there but it has been probably 3 years. Actually now that I thought of it I'm going to make it a point to go back this week. I'll let you know if it's worth it!! |

Seven downtown Minneapolis does tableside bananas foster, but beware if you try it once you'll crave it all the time lol. |

Personally, I hate to see anyone close. |

Thanks for the reply, is this actually the steakhouse in the hotel right off 100/494 on the north side there? With the sister restaurant right next to it? I guess i could go look lol but i just didn't realize it was in a hotel, and if it is that one i am referencing i'm a little excited - i did in fact eat there like 6 years ago (didn't know that was the name) and i had an excellent steak (Obviously if i still remember it lol) |

First visit? If so I personally think you are being a bit over-reactive by saying none of you will ever go back and that you don't think they will last. I have had a bad experience at all of my favorite restaurants before, it's just the way it is unfortunately. No one is perfect including that server nor the restaurant, if you complain to them directly my guess is they will do everything to take care of you and make you happy on your next visit. |

I dont know a ton about STP but in the last 6 months I had Pazaluna and it was excellent. Actually i took my niece/nephew there and my nephew had a pizza and it was flat, crispy, and amazing. I might get that if i go again. |

Has anyone been? I see a deal on OpenTable for them right now. I've never been myself thinking of checking it out! |

What metro area liquor store has the best liquor section? I love MGM on HWY 7 near the lakes. That is where I get my Kegs and they have a huge selection of liquor, but i couldn't tell you for sure if they will have your European herbal liquors etc. Worth a call though!! |

Seeking Mpls/St. Paul venue for party of 25-35 in mid-June Pazzaluna is a really great Italian place in St. Paul if you're open to that. Seven has been great for large parties I've been to in Minneapolis and have American and sushi . French food - I really don't know of any places tbh :( ----- |

Lions Pub in downtown Minneapolis has good popcorn. Williams in uptown in the basement has popcorn (i'm not a huge fan of theirs but the atmosphere is great, and they have peanuts too). Sensors in Bloomington has great popcorn too but dont serve it during the rush (so you can usually get it after 8pm) |
