What would you recommend between the Museum of Science and Fenway?

Wow, Chowhounds, you are amazing. Thanks for this list. We will refer to many times over. We trained it into South Station, and the boy chose to go to Chinatown/Ginza. Turns out the caterpillar, with its octopus face and back jeweled with masago, was a very big hit. We have an eel eater now. I got the lunch combo (udon noodles and a vegetarian maki roll--nice) and the staff was very attentive. FYI, for anyone headed up to the MOS, we found it easier to walk from North Station (maybe 10 minutes) than to mess with the shuttle service. Were cutting it close for our train on the way home, so we got a gelato inside South Station, which was fine but nothing extraordinary. At the same place we also bought a marizpan caterpillar for the younger sister, which she approved of entirely.

Thanks again, Chowhounds. I think sharing this kind of info counts as a kind of public service, and I really appreciate it.

What would you recommend between the Museum of Science and Fenway?

Bringing a 9-year-old boy to Boston for the day and I'm looking for an interesting place for lunch. He's an adventurous eater and especially loves sushi. Is there good sushi you'd recommend for lunch somewhere around or between the Museum of Science, where we're spending the morning, and Fenway Park, where we're taking a tour in the afternoon?

If there's not good sushi between the two, is there some other standout we should know about? Italian's good, as is Asian, barbecue--really this kid will appreciate anything except oysters and very spicy food. He's also got a sweet tooth.

Thanks for any help with this.

Charming/scruffy bar in Fall River?

Now we're considering a foray into New Bedford, so same goes for bars there, if anyone has a favorite to recommend. Thanks.

Charming/scruffy bar in Fall River?

I'm headed to Fall River tomorrow afternoon with some girlfriends and we've got some time to kill before an evening event. We're planning on having dinner at Patti's Pierogis (anyone know if they have a liquor license or if it's BYOB?), then we'll probably head to a bar for a little while after that before we go to the Narrows for music.

Any suggestions about the bar? We're women in our 40s, and someplace with a vibe like the Red Fez here in Providence--a little artsy/funky, colorful, local, no basketball blaring on the tv--would be great. We're not shabby-chic kinda ladies.

Thanks for any suggestions.
