Just a quick update. I had asked for a good restaurant with a decent scotch list and food as well. I went to Via Allegro as it had the biggest scotch list. It seems to get mixed reviews but all I can say is wow. The scotch list is simply massive, Well over 800 malts. But the food and service were truly outstanding. Either for food or scotch it is well worth visiting. Plus the stories from their Malt Whisky expert were so entertaining that he should really be on a stage somewhere.

Looking for a place to have a good meal that also has a decent scotch list.
I normally eat downtoen, but can go farther if i need to. I am taking out a visitor
and he is a malt whisky nut. I would prefer it not be a bar.
