First time in Paris - need help choosing restaurants (can't read menus!)

What are some of your favorites in Marche des Enfantes Rouges? Any places for croissants/pain du chocolat? We arrive in Paris around 4pm on a Monday and will want to grab a quick bite near our hotel in the upper Marais.

Steak Frites / Traditional Dinner on first night

We arrive in Paris late afternoon on a Monday and were thinking somewhere fun, but not fancy for our first dinner since we could be tired. We are staying in the Marais and are considering Chez Denise or Le Severo for something hearty and more traditional. Any thoughts about which makes more sense? What about Bistro La Paul Bert? I'd love to try Robert et Louise but they seem to be closed on Mondays.

5 days in Brittany--advice on places to eat and stay

Parigi, where exactly is the Cancale morning market? Is it walkable from Chateaux Richeux? Are there other items at that market besides oysters. Sounds great, and we love Boqueria as well.

Cancale and Mont St Michel

Hi, my wife and I are planning a trip to Cancale for 2 nights in mid-May. On the agenda is dinner at Le Coquillage (reservation already booked), oysters at the beach, and then another fun/casual seafood dinner. Any thoughts on a more casual restaurant in town or on a good place for lunch.

We have had issues finding hotels with availability that are reasonably close to town but made a reservation at Manoir Des Douets Fleuris. We have not seen many reviews on the hotel and hope it is a nice place.

Lastly, we are taking a train from Paris to St. Malo and wanted to know if a car is necessary. I would love to do without over the 2 days.

Thanks so much for any help, love reading your posts on Paris and Brittany.

An addition to a Basque honeymoon (post-Etxebarri)

Maribel--Thanks so much for all of your recommendations. We are going to the Basque region in May and staying at Hotel Iturregi. We were wondering if there were casual places to eat at night in Getaria near the hotel. We were planning to eat at Elkano one night, but wanted to know where we should have a light, casual dinner after having lunch at Extebarri.

Thanks so much.
