Best meal I ever ate:
A beef stroganoff in St. Petersburg in an almost empty modern "bistro-type" place with absolutely no charm. I had 0 expectations, and the dish nearly brought tears to my eyes.

I always try to do new things when I have people over. But when I'm invited, my chocolate brownie is usually what I bring.

My mom's ossobuco or my step-mom's pasta neapolitan (which is really closer to a ragu alla bolognese, don't know why her recipe says "neapolitan"...)
