Fiesta Dishes

I went back to macys again and bought six dinner plates - 3 colbalt blue and 3 peacock. :-). The size of the plates are perfect. Didn't realize how huge my old plates were!

Eventually I want to get a few Fiesta canisters too.

Fiesta Dishes

Well went to my kohls ( in SJ) and selection for separate pieces was sad! My Macy's has far superior selection and it has the ' exclusive' pasta dishes which I love.

Anyway kohls was picked over, but bear in mind this was a high traffic store and people redeeming their kohls cash.

I want those square plates , sweet!

Fiesta Dishes

I got so fed up with my stoneware made by macys ( called cafe) and just bought Fiesta pasta, regular bowls and some lunch plates. Macys has 40% and had a 15% coupon off so I think I got a good deal.

Love my Fiesta! What inspired me to purchase was my colbalt blue platters my mom gave me for xmas. Had them for 14 years. Still in awesome shape. I'm thinking now of getting the green and aqua. I'm excited now to grow my collection. I know, what took me so long lol!

New GE Café Range: Need Broiling Tips

Hello Joan, thought I'd respond to your original post...well, I only used the broil a few times. I also use my cast iron pans or our weber for steak. So sorry I couldn't help!

I will have to try broiling my steak fajitas sometime. I will let you know how it goes.

does Lodge Enamel cast iron product chip off?

Oh yeah, I have heard really good things about staub.
My friend has a Costco brand Dutch oven (believe it's also made in France) that has held up very well - going on 3 years now. I might buy a smaller Costco DO ,or a Staub (if I see any good sales going on).

I will report back in another year how my Lodge is holding up. I'm also very rough on my cookware. I have also left it in the fridge a few days with a tomato stew. We got a smoking deal (now I see the7.5 is $100) so even if I get a few chips I'll still be happy. I wouldn't say my pot chips easily. The fit and finish looks very high quality. I can see some very, very faint hairline scratches inside the pot. (Husband used a SS spoon) Also a light brown faint stain.
I also have 4 Lodge non-enamel skillets which I LOVE.

Rehearsal dinner for 20 near Fort Mason Chapel- any type of cuisine, mid-price point [San Francisco]

We just ate at Dixie's and LOVED it. IMO the restaurant looked better than the Social Club.

does Lodge Enamel cast iron product chip off?

Now that I have own my Lodge enameled 7.5 cast iron Dutch oven for a year and very pleased with it. I have made countless stews, beef bourguignon etc and it it amazing!
The lid fits snug so believe I have the snug fitting one since I bought it in 2011.

We got it on sale so even if it lasts only 5 years I'll be happy.

does Lodge Enamel cast iron product chip off?

Thanks very much for the reply .  I just came back from our Costco , in San Jose, and saw a LC 8 qt Dutch oven for $200.  They only had yellow, red and I think green but I thought that was a great price.  I noticed the sample LC had a few noticeable chips in it, I know it has been abused!  For my needs I want the round DO though.
I'm leaning towards the 7.5 enameled lodge. I checked out the lodge while I was at target and I was really impressed. I really couldn't tell the difference between the LC I saw at Costco and the lodge.

does Lodge Enamel cast iron product chip off?

I know this is a very old thread but about to buy a lodge enameled Dutch oven and wanted to know if lodge is still having problems with chipping?
Sounds like reviews on here are mixed so looks like a gamble for me to buy.

I did see some LC at tjmaxx but noticed quite a few chips inside the pot.
