How many SF 49ers football fans really want Vegan food?

Sports venues are becoming more of a event. I have no problem of them serving vegan food. At@t park has a edible garden beyond center field. It's going over pretty well. Serving the vegetables to the patrons. Good for Levi stadium for serving vegan food. I'm sure there are plenty of other vendors to choose from.

At least they know they are getting a good tip. I'm sure plenty of waiters and waitresses have been burned by a lot of cheap asses. I see nothing wrong. And yes, I do tip again after a meal and drinks. I never deduct the twenty. That is theirs for keeping.

T.I.P.S.= To Insure Proper/Prompt Service?

I do this when I go to the city. I will tip the waitress or waiter a twenty when I am seated in a real busy restaurant. I am never ignored, seems to work and I get great service. I have also done this with cabbies. Instead of driving in circles to raise the fare. Their busting it to my destination as fast as possible.

Mett. Have you ever had it ? I was in Germany a couple years ago. And it was served at breakfast. I spread it on the pumpernickel bread. I loved it.
It's fresh raw ground pork with spices added. Sometimes, garlic,caraway,or onion is added. Sure you want to get the pork from your butcher. It must be very fresh.
Maybe it's not popular in the US. But I am going to have my butcher grind some for me. He gets his meat from a farm a couple miles away.Have you ever maid Mett ? I'm going to make some in the near future.

best cioppinno?

Thanks Robert for the info. But that's not the one. It was a whole page in the Chronicle. It was the best recipe I have ever came across because it had two parts to it. The first part was all about making the fish stock. I would go out to the wharf to get the fish frames for this. The second part was about putting it all together. I sort of remember the recipe which I have made. This is my white whale that I have been searching for.

+1. Recommend. I make it every winter. It's all about the Dungeness. I still am in search of the cioppino recipe from the food section in the Chronicle mid 80's. It was a whole page with the recipe. Lent it out and never returned.

What is the best way to prepare steak at home?

The steak quality available to me is choice if that. Prime beef is hard to come by. Remove from package. Salt, set on plate, cover and let sit at room temp for at least two hours. Heat pan to med high. Add some butter and a little olive oil. I do not believe in the super high temp and turn a couple times. I turn more. Gently cook. I like mine Med rare to rare.

Stuffed Squash Blossoms

I am waiting for my plants to blossom. Sometimes I'll make a light batter with soda water and fry. Other times I don't use batter. My favorite filling is Ricotta with a little fresh herbs mixed in. I also like adding a good quality anchovy.
