I have tried many store bought sausages and I don't like any of them, but I love the sausages from street vendors, can someone please tell me how/where to buy good sausages, what to look for, what to stay away from, and whether or not they sell the vendor type sausages in stores, etc. I don't know anything about sausages, and would like to learn.

I want to make a dessert that calls for roasted cherries, but i can't go through the work of pitting a bunch of cherries one at a time, does anyone know if roasted cherries can be bought in the store in a jar or can, already pitted? OR, does anyone know if there is any kind of cherry pitter available that will pit a bunch of cherry at once instead of having to do them one at a time?

I'm hosting a dinner party for 8 people, there are MANY food restictions amonsgt the group, I am so sick and tired of serving chicken at dinner parties (cause it's the safe choice), and I'm so sick of eating it at everyone else's dinner parties, I wanted to do something different, but here's the problem: someone in the group doesn't eat seafood, someone else doesn't eat spicey foods, someone else doesn't eat pork, someone else doesn't eat veal, and 3 people don't eat lamb....WHAT THE HECK am I going to cook, any ideas except for chicken and turkey???

I understand it requires effort on the part of the restaurant......but really it comes down to customer service.....I'm in business and I bend over backwards to please and accomodate my clients, regardless of how much effort it takes.

Where can I find the best Balsamic, the one that's thick, and sweet tasting, not grocery store stuff that's like vinegar.

Anyone know of restaurants in the Toronto area that will do separate bills for groups of 25-40 people? I plan dining out events for a social club on a monthly basis and have a lot of trouble finding restaurants that are willing to do separate bills. It would be a nightmare for me to try to calculate what each person owes (been there, tried that). And members don't like pre set menu's. Anyone have any suggestions ? We're ok with them adding the gratituity to each person's bill automatically.

I don't know why restaurants make it so difficult on patrons, you'd think they'd go the extra mile to get that kind of business, but they don't...I guess the restaurant business is so lucrative these days that they have no issue turning away business.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
