So The Malibu Charthouse is right next to the beach which will give the opportunity to walk on after dinner?

Wow thanks again everyone. So I'm glad I got feedback on avoiding Gladstone's. Boa looks like a competitor as well as The Sunset Restaurant. Anyone else have any experiences with these restaurants?

I am looking for a nice restaurant to take a special lady to, to add on to my preferences. So somewhere nice and a good atmosphere.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a steakhouse but at least have that option on the menu since she loves steak.

How is gladstones in Malibu? The place looks impressive but isn't rated very high on yelp.

I am looking for a good restaurant near the beach that serves a good steak. I see Geoffrey's in Malibu as a competitor but it is on a cliff? Is it possible to walk down the beach? Also how much would a steak dinner cost? The prices aren't listed.

Any other suggestions on a good restaurant near the beach that serves a good steak will be much appreciated.

Hello all! I was hoping to get some help on deciding where to eat this weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day. I am from the Los Angeles area so don't really know any good places to eat in San Diego. I have to handle a few business things in the morning and plan on celebrating with my girlfriend after.

An ideal restuarant would be a restaurant right near the beach that has a good steak meal with a good romantic setting. We both love steak dinners but I am open to other cuisines. I would like for it to be by or on the beach because we would like to take a stroll on it either before or after dinner. I would also like a place not too casual. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
