The Forest Pork Store, which I've always thought better than Karl Ehmer, closed its retail operation in Ridgewood a few years ago, but still manufacture the wurst at the old site on Forest Ave at Woodbine St. And last I heard, they were still providing a service for their old Queens customers to call the store out in Huntington Station (631.423.2574) on Thursdays to order, then pick up the goods at the old Ridgewood location on Fridays. ----- |
