Splurge dinner?
My friends and I endulge in a bi-annual food fest at a decadant restaurant where we pretend money isn't the issue (until we receive our credit card bills). In the past we've done Del Posto, Cru, Daniel, Babbo, Nobu...you get the point. Where can we eat next?

Anyone been to Cru lately?
I went to Cru this past Saturday and had a great meal - with great wine. The summer tasting menu was on the heavy side but I enjoyed every morsel.
The waiter mentioned that they were closing on August 26th for some updates to the space. I'm not sure how long they will stay closed.

Best Steak in Midtown West/Hell's Kitchen?
I really love Chimichurri Grill on 9th between 43 and 44. Excellent steaks and the chimichurri sauce is delicious.
