St. Tropez in August

hi we are going to be in St. Tropez for two days. I was last there 30 years ago, and we stayed at the Byblos Hotel. I would love suggestions for a few good restaurants in St. Tropez. Thanks so much

Restaurants for two nights

Craigs on Melrose Blvd, just 2 blocks east of Doheny Drive. Reservations are a must. Craig is a fantastic owner as well as host. He was over at Dan Tana's for years and years a staple in West Hollywood, the food is comfort food but out of this world. Chicken parmigiana that two people can share. A relaxed atmosphere, low key but upscale at the same time. Always a star siting or two.
Villetta in Brentwood. Again, Antonio owner as well as host. Sit outside on their patio. Very romantic and the food and wine delish. again....nice low key

Santa Monica Birthday Dinner for 2

180.00 for two of us with a tip, however we were with three other people who ordered more drinks than we did, and we just split the check.

Santa Monica Birthday Dinner for 2

had dinner at Villetta last night, really beautiful ambience. Patio was pretty we ate in a smaller room great lighting with fireplace going. My husband had wild salmon, I had the pasta with pork ragu. Really good. Musha does have great food, but no ambience. Capo is great, but be prepared to spend the big $$$. Have fun...

Villetto - SM

It just depends on the weather. When you walk in, the patio is great "if" its warm outside, the heaters that they have, don't cut it when its cold. Either of the other two rooms are great. When I was last there, we sat outside, it was a warm evening, and Sophie Loren walked in and she sat in one of the other rooms, so maybe I was in Siberia! Have fun!

I think they just need to work the kinks out, and they will be fine. It has a really good vib. I do agree with "siberia", although last time I was there a really big star was sitting in "siberia" and didn't seem to mind at all.

The pizzas are great. Great place, to sit outside and have a drink, and star watch.

Slow Cooker Easy BBQ Beef

I recently purchased a slow cooker from William Sonoma. All clad the insert can be used to braise meats before you slow cook, eliminating the use of an extra frying pan. Tonight I made BBQ Beef, it was out of this world just fell apart. This is my recipe and its the best.

One chuck roast.
i bottle of beer
1 bottle of ketchup
a cup of bbq sauce, {any}

brown the roast in a little oil, with cut onions, when roast is brown on both sides, put in slow cooker for 7 hours on low....

Thats all folks...

serve with hamburger rolls
corn on the cob
salad.
