I coordinate dinners for Ex-Chicagoans in DFW, monthly, at various Chicago owned and Chicago food restaurants in the DFW Metro-plex. We are also on Facebook. There are quite a few places to get your fix.
I like the Chicago Corner and Danny’s Pizza in Arlington, Chicago street and Rosati’s in McKinney Bel Gusto's in Irving is from New Berlin, WI. I meet Ex-Chicagoans at least once a week or two. we have around 324 members but only 20 – 30 people will come out for meetups. We have a email listing of all the places we have found in the Metroplex called "Ties to Home"

Brisket 90 is some kind of brisket meat i like the taste of the burger and asked what it was but i have never heard of it before it is pretty good make it a great day!

Ciao Chicago just opened in Addison, TX Picasso's has a UNO type pizza I try and get to them all for all who are in the EX-Chicago in DFW group that live everywhere in the metro-plex. There are more popping up each day! CHOW BABY!!

can not wait to sink my teeth into an extreme burger! used to be the old Tippin's pie place. Christy's is in the front and Sparky's shares the restuarant towards the back.

I went to Ciao Chicago and loved the thin crust, cheese and sausage and Italian beef was really good. Chicago suburb born and raised i recommend this place! All the food is made by scratch so if you order a pan pizza it does take a good 40 minutes. You can buy the beef by the pound. All the food is shipped from Chicago.
The sauce is sweet, very cheesy, and the crust is just right. Going to meet the EX-Chicagoans in DFW there July 9th for dinner. It is the real deal! very very good!

Hey there well the EX-Chicagoans in DFW loved Chicago St and Rosati's in McKinney. I love Danny's in Arlington but it is really small. The Chicago pizza places are opening up more and more and being from Chicago we know what is the best from our home town. The group also eats at other Chicago owned or Chicago food restaurants in the DFW areas. Mangia!! Mangia!!
Our next 2 meetups are Chicago Cafe in Frisco in May and The Chicago Corner in Arlington in June there are quite a few places that we list thanks to Chowhound !!

Hello ! hey you guys i am assistant coordinator for EX-Chicagoans in DFW and we venture out into the metroplex to find Chicago owned and Chicago food joints. So far we have hit a few goodies and most of them are in the Plano/ Frisco areas. Chicago St and Rosati's sit down restaurants in McKinney are definetly worth the drive! then there is another Rosati's and Chicago's finest carryout in Frisco/Plano. We found a awesome Platia Greek Kouzina off Gaylord and Preston that are owned by two hard working sisters straight from Halsted Street and that restaurant makes everything by scratch!!
In Keller there is Celio's and Weinbergers Deli in Grapevine. Calabrio's, The Chicago Corner, Danny's Pizza(2 bros from Melrose Park) all in Arlington. Chicago Rick's in Carrollton that has been here awhile. Louie's in downtown Dallas. Just go to meetup dot com and we have a great group of people to talk about where you are from, how you got down here and talk about "DA BEEFS" Cubbies, Sox,Hawks, Bulls, etc.....
