I tried Hundred Acres, Westville and Jane, they both serve pretty good brunch food. I like the ambiance at Hundred Acres, and the food is not bad. Jane is also famous.. it's usually crowded on weekends. But what I like best is Westville (18th street and 7 ave, I think). They serve homemade style brunch food, which I think is really good. They also have market vegetables, which changes everyday depends on what's in season. Last but not least, must try their coffee!! :)

Hi!! I'm planning for a birthday dinner for my bf. He doesn't really like fine dining, or any too-fancy restaurants. I want to take him to a fun place for birthday dinner. I have two places in mind: basta pasta or inakaya. The waiters there sing for your birthday and the places are pretty cool. I wonder if any of you could help me with suggestion if you guys know any other places like these, where the waiters would sing happy birthday to you.
