Boston trip report - March 21-25 (long).

Friendly conversation! We were just waiting on a friend before heading to dinner. However, as many times as we ate per day, I can understand.

Boston trip report - March 21-25 (long).

Dax did an excellent job summarizing our food-cation. A couple dishes were left off the list. Salt and pepper squid at the Dumpling Cafe was good. I really liked the eggplant and basil thought it was super delicious but one order could have fed ten people. So it was upsetting to have to waste such good leftovers (the hotel didn't have a fridge for us.)
At Coppa we also had a cold cauliflower dish it was really good but I could have easily had more of the meatballs in it place. It wasn't to memorable.
At Torro we also has the tuna belly it was okay not my cup of tea. The anchovies were so darn delicious that I had to give a shout again, so good. We also had the burger, there. Not really sure how it tasted so it must have just been a good burger. The razor clams were the most meaty little bites of flavor heaven.
He also forgot to mention that we had two orders of the tuna crudo, it was that good. The spicy cucumbers that accompanied it were amazing.
At Marliave, we also had the truffled fries which were hot and delicious with a little garlic and parsley.

Birmingham - Red Pearl Hot and Spicy Fish Fillet Soup

I would definitely be in for the chowdown. There are so many things I want to try on the menu but can't because again my stomach is only so large. I will say this about a past comment about rice cakes. I thought they were chewy, starchy, and tasted like nothing with a hint of frying oil.
I would really like to try the snails.

Heading to Pensacola

I am heading to Pensacola to visit my brother, who just moved there. I would love some suggestions on fairly reasonable priced dining. We enjoy eating, so no type of cuisine is off limits just need to make sure I have enough money to make it home.

Looking forward to Telepan tomorrow. I ate rickshaw dumpling bar today in the garden area at tavern on the green. It was good but the weather was better.

New to weight watchers, pointplus.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips or delicious filling low point recipes they would like to share. I am open to any and all suggestions, please help. I have read some previous threads and found some great ideas but they focused on the older core or flex plans.

I have had the crispy squid at Red Pearl and thought it was delicious. I also really like the beef with jalpenos.
