Can anyone recommend a good molecular gastronomy restaurant in Vegas? We are staying at the Cosmo, but will be renting a car. Thank you! |

I love this restaurant for excellent Filipino food, and it's super cheap. It's just off the Strip. Try the turong there. ----- |

Yes, my Shun knife has an Asian edge. And yes, no one seems to know where I can purchase this particular model instore. I was hoping I could just purchase them at a local store (because my knife is in dire need of sharpening), but it looks like I may have to order it online. I'm open to other Asian knife sharpeners. This is the model that was suggested on America's Test Kitchen. Any suggestions on a great value Asian knife sharpener? Thanks for your help! |

Need Downtown Area Dining Suggestions - Vancouver Miku is fabulous, but a little pricey. Anything aburi is fantastic there. ----- |

I think it will depend on what kind of food and atmosphere you're looking for. I've been to Boneta (but not Chambar) and have been impressed with the wine list and food at Boneta. They're changing their menu regularly, so there's always something new. It's not a huge restaurant, so you may want to call ahead to see if you can reserve a larger table for your family dinner. Another suggestion may be Cin Cin on Robson? That's a larger restaurant and they serve very pillowy soft gnocchi there. |

I'm looking at purchasing this knife sharpener for my Shun knife. Anyone know where I can purchase this in the Vancouver, BC or even just over the border (i.e. between Bellingham and Seattle)? |

I live in the Brentwood area, but work downtown. I didn't know it was so readily available! I had looked at T&T and Superstore, but I couldn't find it there. Sunrise can be on my way home, so I'll try there. Thanks! |

Going on vacation to Vancouver New Town Bakery has the best apple tarts, if you're looking for Chinese bakery items. There's a location in Surrey and Chinatown. I believe there's another location, but can't recall where. |
