Anyone still using chipped beef?

I made SOS last week, but it had been years and I forgot to rinse the beef first to take away most of the salt. My Mom and I used to order it for breakfast whenever we stayed at the Regency Hotel in NYC. Talk about guilty pleasures.

Vinegar on Fries...a dying tradition

Long John Silvers had malt vinegar in the 60s and 70s. Did they discontinue it?

Could someone turn me on to a really great malt vinegar. I love it on fish and chips but can't seem to find a good brand.

Ruined enamel on my Creuset

I took my LC with flaking enamel back to the place of purchase today, and they replaced it for free with no questions, so I am thinking this is not a new problem.

PS. I had been using it for 10 years and it had never been abused. No metal utensils, no scorching or burning and no temps over 375. I expected better from this product.

Although the store sure did the right thing. THANK YOU SUR LA TABLE.

Was Chef Boayardee ever a quality product?

No, never. But it filled up a lot of poor, and by poor I mean no money, little tummies in the '50s.

Once your taste buds reach the age of 8, ChefBoyRD is a thing of the past.
