Chow Kids. Are you raising one?
Yes my kids are well on their way. As babies ( one is 2 1/2 the other 13 months) I always made my own baby food and they basically ate whatever we were eating....god bless the magic bullet!!!!! I pretty much allow my kids anything they want almost all the time but with that in mind if you ask ( my daughter who is almost three) what she wants its almost always fruit or something healthy. She enjoys helping me cook and being in the kitchen. I love it!!!!

the best chinese on staten island....loon chuan on page avenue on the south shore. very good food. i recommend szechuan wonton appetizer.

Staten Island restaurants - good for small bridal shower?
Basilles on forest avenue is a very good place for a shower. they have an upstairs little room that is adorable with a blue sky with clouds on the ceiling. they have great food and are reasonable. they could also accomodate your in their main room easily. I went to a party there once and it was really nice.
Also, Nino's on Hylan blvd isn't a bad second choice.

hi all,
looking for a christmas gift for my aunt who has everything. she has a waterfront home down the shore with a "nautical" theme ( but nicely done...not trashy). she does lots of entertaining, has the house that everyone sort of gathers at, life of the party etc.
not quite elaborate like a wine fridge but better than pot holders.....................any suggestions???????
