Looking forward to our first trip to Charleston, however having a hard time trying to figure out how to fit all the fantastic places into our itinerary. We'll arrive around lunch time on Saturday and fly out late Tuesday afternoon. We're thinking about doing a byo sunset cruise one of the nights, so if there's a place with a great late night specials (after 8:30ish) - let me know! On our list of restaurants: And for cocktails (and poss food): Is the coconut cake at the Peninsula Grill worth a taste? What else must we try while in Charleston? Are there any good places to grab a drink and see live music? |

Has anyone been to Bistro 7 lately? Any recommendations on what to order? |

Has anyone seen razor clams on a menu yet?? |

I know it's the start of the season but looking for a restaurant with them on their menu. |

I highly suggest checking out Heirloom in Chestnut Hill. I head out of the city to meet friends in the 'burbs on a monthly basis and Heirloom is by far our favorite! And it's BYO which makes us love it more! |

Heading down for our 3rd year and we've been to the following: And some others that aren't worth mentioning. Looking for somewhere new to try. Any recs for 2 fools & a bull or open kitchen? Anywhere else for some Philly foodies to try? |

I am planning a trip to the Portland/Seattle area for Thanksgiving week and am trying to decide where to spend our Thanksgiving dinner. Any restaurants in the Seattle downtown area that are worth checking out? |

ISO Cocktails in the Meatpacking District Looking for a fun place to grab a cocktail in the meatpacking district before a 7:45 dinner reservation at Spice Market this Wednesday. Would prefer low key but willing to sacrifice noise for possible view. |

What are the must tries at Han Dynasty? We did 3 for the cucumbers and 4 for the noodles. We both agreed that we could have probably bumped up the heat a bit...next time! |

What are the must tries at Han Dynasty? We had a great meal last night! I was worried about the heat and sloppy service (reviews on yelp!) but neither turned out to be a problem. We started with the spicy crispy cucumbers with the spice turned down a bit - loved them!! Both my friend and I could not stop eating the Dan Dan Noodles. What is in that dish that makes it so addictive!! The table next to us had ordered the scallion dish (no heat) and it looked appealing so we decided to add the beef dish to our order. |
|
|
What are the must tries at Han Dynasty? The Dan Dan noodles are already on my list. Although I'm going to have to request a bit less heat as they're listed as an 8 on their site. What are some other dishes that I must try? There will be 2 of us dining tonight so suggestions on good sharing dishes would be great! |

Favorite restaurants in Puerto Rico? We enjoyed the short rib stuffed burger and onion wedges at #12 El Jefe Burger. Cute sitting area in the back where you're surrounded by banana trees. We also enjoyed Jose Enrique. It was our favorite meal of our visit! |

Madame Jeanette's is great! For me - a trip to Aruba is complete without the almond grouper! |
|

My bf and I ate at Quahogs last week. I think the fish ribs at Quahogs are worth a visit. My summer isn't complete without a few plates of them! We also had the mussels as an app followed by softshell crabs (3 decent sized crabs) and a whole branzino which were both delicious! My only wish for Quahogs is that they would get their servers on the ball. I feel like they're never staffed properly but I feel that way about most places at the shore. |

ISO of the name of the cafe/restaurant at 12th & Spruce I tried Odd Fellows last night and unfortunately it did not impress. There were 3 parties seated when we arrived and it still took over 10 minutes to be greeted and another 10 minutes to get our wine opened. We were interested in the AYE option only to find out that are not offering it anymore. They're looking to do a tasting menu over the next couple months. |

ISO of the name of the cafe/restaurant at 12th & Spruce Planning to check it out on Monday-all you can eat enchiladas! |

ISO of the name of the cafe/restaurant at 12th & Spruce Does anyone know the name of the cafe/restaurant at the corner of 12th & Spruce? It is across from Tria and next to the Shanti Yoga studio. I rememeber walking by a few weeks ago and they offer all you can eat nights and I think it's BYO. Thanks! |

Anyone been to The Industry yet? Definitely worth the ride down to Pennsport. The space and food are fantastic! I can't wait to go back for brunch! Some highlights from my tasting: And of course the desserts - the doughnuts and swiss roll are not to be missed! Enjoy! |

We ordered a little bit of everything from Santaella. It took a long time to get our bottle of wine. In fact I think food started coming out before our wine was presented and poured. No one explained our dishes and our server was constantly missing. From what I remember we had the chicken livers, a special empanada (meat I think), the rolls (disappointing), a special croquette, a lamb chop app special, and I think both of our dinners were specials. We didn't even bother with dessert. We just wanted out! I think Jose Enrique definitely did more of an authentic presentation. We really enjoyed everything there - esp the Fried whole snapper - delicous! Unfortuantely we didn't stay for dessert because we had to drive to Fajardo for our Biobay tour :) The Lobster at Niche was one of the best we've encountered in our travels. I only recommend a cab because the streets seemed dark. I was with my BF but I don't think I would have walked alone. We drove to Santaella and Jose Enrique but due to the way the streets are I'd also recommend a cab. It shouldn't cost more than $10 each way. |

My BF and I stayed at the Renaissance in February. We dined at Santaella and were not impressed. Food was pricey and service was spotty. We looooved Jose Enrique which was recommeded to us by the manager at Niche. Highly recommend NIche also. Great spot and walkable from the Condado area, although if you're alone you might be better off with a cab. A friend just returned and really enjoyed Marmalade. Check out BUNS for burgers and cold beer. Much better for the $$ than at the hotel! Enjoy your trip! |

Looking for some good stuffed olives (cheese, meat, etc..) for martinis. I'm going to check out Dibruno's but are there any other places that carry good martini olives? |
|

Thanks barryg. I must have overlooked that tab on their website. Definitely worth a visit! |

I was recently at the Oyster House and only saw raw and fried oysters on their menu. I just returned from New Orleans and fell in love with charbroiled oysters. Looks like Catahoula might have what I'm looking for. I haven't seen many reviews on this restaurant..might be worth a try! |

Looking for places that serve oysters baked, broiled or charbroiled. Any new combos on the Philly food scene? |
|

I tried to get them at Fish last night and they were the only thing on the menu NOT available. Such a bummer! Next time I'll call ahead. |
