SFOGLIATELLE: Who makes 'em best in Connecticut? Del Prete's? Does anyone sell them frozen and unbaked? |

Breakfast Cereal from Your Childhood Thats it! I totally don't remember it being called that but the description is right. This cereal should make a comeback! |

Breakfast Cereal from Your Childhood Does anyone remember Double Nut Crunch, not sure who made it but it looked like chex cereal, kind of octagon shaped...had the best taste and crunch! Like Frosted Flakes it made the milk taste yummo! |

excellent [Rivenova,Stratford, Ct.] Oh well...another one bites the dust. Passed it last night and a big "For Rent" sign was in the window. Very sad! |

What's your "Subway" sandwich? This shows how much I hate Subway "meat", I buy a six inch veggie and then I put my own freshly sliced deli meat on it. It's a good thing that my Stop & Shop is in the same plaza as a Subway! It's actually a decent sandwich when you go through this kind of trouble! |

Anyone try the new Magnum Ice Cream Bar? Is it worth the calories? Looks yummy! |

I know! It's the reason I stopped buying them. They are so gross. I tried to look at the sell by date on the bag but it didn't matter. I'm back to buying organic carrots, they are tender and aren't enormous. The taste is better than the baby carrots ever were. Too bad the convenience is sacrificed. |

How Does Subway Stay in Business? Worked at Subway in CT in the early 80's. My mother made me hang my ugly brown smock in the garage cause it stunk up the house. Even when I hadn't worked people would comment that they smelled Subway, I guess it was coming out of my pores! Back in those days we cut all the meat and veggies. We made the tuna in a big wash basin. The bread came from a bakery and it was yummy. We used to make deli roll ups because we couldn't resist freshly cut meats, things have changed so dramatically that I can't bring myself to eat the crap they serve today. Yuk! |

What's your favorite jared tomato sauce? Love Silver Palate Marinara. Very light sauce, good in a pinch. |
