Who could keep track? It's a pitty to think that some could have had so few great meals that one in particular should stand out so much!
My current drink of choice:
Silly thing to note; of course it depends on the meal. Otherwise, good water, juice, well made wines (not the crude overblown plonk from over-ripe grapes that the majority of California winemakers are pumping out, some whiskies, tequilas, cognacs, brandies from an Oregon distiller, some good ales, lagers, porters, stouts, and very few of the poorly crafted seasonal and flavored beers.
I really wish I could:
Get restaurants to stop using so much oil, butter, and cream.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Wha-a-a-a? A wierd use of the language, I'd say!
My favorite comfort food:
Really good brown rices, really good potatoes, simply prepared so that the grain or potatoes' flavor comes through. With some things I prefer quinoa, however.
