Thank you for the great Seattle restaurant advise!

After spending a great deal of time on ChowHound.com researching for my girls trip to Seattle, I arrived with an agenda. We started with Salty's for the fabulous one of a kind Seattle view, Lowells for breakfast, Purple Cafe for lunch, Serious Pie for dinner and Palace Kitchen for dessert/drink. We were also there for the Flower and Garden Show... so we were busy. The long weekend also included Cafe Campagne (decadent), Il Terrazo, Macrina Bakery and Bakery Nouveau. What a fabulous time and such a "foodie" trip. Next time I will take another group from the long list of unique and spectacular Seattle restaurants and conquer unchartered ground again. A person has to start somewhere and it was ever so delicious. Been home 48 hrs now with a mad craving for another chocolate almond croissant from Bakery Nouveau in W. Seattle....you MUST go.

With warmest thanks... you made my trip. I will miss you Seattle... until we meet again in July.

Can't wait.

Il Terrazzo... is it worth the $

It really is an "agonizing" decision. There are so many incredible choices in Seattle. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'm hungry already!! :)

Il Terrazzo... is it worth the $

Great suggestion! Il Terrazzo one night, Rays Boathouse another and one of Tom Douglas's restaurants the other night? Maybe The Palace Kitchen?

Il Terrazzo... is it worth the $

My friend and I will be coming from Kansas City...so we don't need to try any BBQ restaurants! Ha! We will have 3 dinners in Sea. It's so hard to make restaurant choices in such a fun city. One dinner will be Il Terrazzo for sure with a group of locals and they picked it. We will be in the Pioneer Sq area, so it works well. The other two dinners I haven't decided on yet. Which restaurant would be fun, interesting, great food and atmosphere? As Midwesters... we are suckers for the water views.

Il Terrazzo... is it worth the $

I will be in Seattle for a 4 day weekend in Feb. My friend is suggesting Il Terrazza. It's her favorite. With so many fabulous restaurant choices, do we want to go there? Thanks for the advise... in advance.

Organic Downtown Seattle

I will be in Seattle in Feb. Looking for a high quality organic fruits, veggie, meat restaurant...delicious too. I would think there could be such a thing. Okay, to make it more complicated...one with a water view? ha! Thank you very much. I have been so impressed with the responses and advise on this blog.

Seattle Weekend.. 4 days...suggestions please!

I am a Washingtonian living in Kansas as of 23 yrs ago. I come to Seattle a couple times a year to get my fix. Have done much exploring but would love suggestions for great restaurants. I will be hosting my husbands assistant to celebrate her 15 yrs with our company. Just we two girls. We appreciate water views and uniquely NW decor. I miss it so much. We are also going to the PNW Garden Show, Argosy Lake Tour, Pikes Market, etc. Where would you eat if you were me?
