I haven't logged onto chowhound in two years (clearly) but saw this and got really excited! My uncle is head chef at Verdi's so I'm so glad you enjoyed your meal :)

Momo's and Decent Pizza are actually owned by the same guy so there should be some similarities I would imagine. I haven't been to Decent Pizza but really like Momo's as my personal favorite.

keep in mind its september and a lot of these places are closed for the month because its the slowest time of the year. thats why i gave you a few different options.

Good eating in Indian Rocks?
All of those option are great!
Try the wings at PJ's or the fish spread, those are the only things really great there.
Dockside Daves is known for their grouper sandwich so thats always good too.
Keegans has definitely switched hands and is not nearly as good as it used to be.
Another good Thai place is Thai-Am 2 by John's Pass.
Frog Pond is delicious so don't miss that!

I just have to throw out Fuji Yama. I went there a few weeks ago with my dad and it was incredible. Fresh sushi, beautiful sashimi display, and they also have thai dishes. I would highly recommend it =)

I have a recipe for a wine jam that is usually served with crackers and cream cheese.
However, I want to do a little play on it and use the wine jam in a cupcake... I was thinking about making some kind of cupcake, then filling it with a little jam, and topping it off with a cream cheese frosting.
How does that sound? Also, what kind of cupcake would you suggest? Vanilla, Angel Food cake, etc?

I would suggest pajanos or beach pizza for your pizza. I'm not sure how far they deliver but they are both very good.

Indian Rocks to John's Pass-Help!
I have been there! It is easily overlooked though and that's probably why I forgot it in my earlier post. We went for dinner as a family this past Christmas time. It was really nice because we were the only people in there and you almost forgot you were even in a restaurant. We were all commenting on how quickly you felt like you had been eating there your whole life and how comfortable the owners made you feel. Definitely a place for upscale diners to try.

Starbucks Improvement???
A new starbucks just opened near me and the employees there are excellent. They are very willing to help and re-make drinks, suggest items, etc. I think the newer staff are being trained the "classic" starbucks way that we all love and remember. Maybe those that were trained within the last two years just dont get it.

I want to make a bar cookie (layered, not just a cookie cooked in a pan) but was hoping to use Splenda for the sugar because my uncle is diabetic.
