I also pick Sushi of Gari and Yasuda. However, my cheap eats is Haru. Not amazing, but consistent and pretty cheap. Good drinks too.
WD-50 is disgusting. Right? Anyone?
I consider myself pretty open to different foods and eat A LOT! I went to WD-50 when it first opened and was horrified at the food. The decor was great and the space was awesome, but the food was crazy! It was like eating a David Sedaris novel. Funny and interesting to read, but horrible to eat. They try too hard. I mean, the tastes are just too overwhelming. Because of the reviews, I decided to try it again. Yet again, my taste buds just gave out. It's great to flavor and season your food, but after 20 ingredients, you have to stop or else you ruin the entire point of a fish or a meat...
