Portuguese/European Grocery in Calgary

Thanks very much. I'll try all those places. I did go to Lina's and Polcan and a couple of spice places and there was nothing.

Portuguese/European Grocery in Calgary

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of a great Portuguese or European grocery that would sell the following ingredients anywhere in Calgary as I haven't been able to locate one:

Pimenta - a Portuguese seasoning that consists of crushed red peppers mixed with salt that is canned and seedless.

con Azafran - Sazon Goya is the brand and contains 8-10 packets of seasoning.

Thanks in advance,
Shannon

Poutine in YYC?

La Belle Patate is good, but I agree...not as gooey cheese as I would prefer. Regardless, the poutine with Montreal Smoked Meat was great.

Where to buy Sumac in Calgary

I was able to buy some at Cedars, and the gentleman behind the counter is extremely friendly and funny. A really nice place to explore. Thanks for the tip!

Birthday Cake

+1 for Brulee, but I love the lemon chiffon there. It's gorgeous and tasty.

Where to buy Sumac in Calgary

I am in desperate need of sumac and have visited both Somar and Westend Grocery which are both sadly closed.

Does anyone know of a Middle Eastern grocer that is currently open and operating in the south of Calgary that sells sumac?

Thanks in advance.
