Need Suggestions Good Edmonton Restaurant Thanks for all the feedback everyone. This a huge help since I don't live in Edmonton. I was leaning toward Wildflower but you made me switch to Red Ox! |

Need Suggestions Good Edmonton Restaurant Hi Edmonton Chowhounders, I am looking for a restaurant that will be a nice experience for a couple who don't eat out very often. They are not adventurous eaters. I saw an earlier thread that recommended 3 Boars (would be too hipster), Wildflower (menu looks good), Red Ox, (menu also looks good). I'm leaning toward Wildflower because I think the food is a good match but there are some bad reviews regarding service. Have I missed anything, are any other suggestions? |

Thanks for all the comments, I think I will delay my visit to Ursa. |

I'm wondering if people are liking Ursa these days. I saw an older thread with a fair bit of positive feed back, then there were some staff changes, and some bad experiences being discussed. They made it to the Enroute list this year so I thought it was time to look into them again. I am taking a out of town friend out and want the experience to be fun and with great food! Reso's are a must, I'm really sick of line ups, so several of the other Enroute selections are off my list. Thanks! |

Dinner before Movie Bloor Cinema HELP! Can anyone recommend a place to eat a decent meal before a movie close to Bloor and Bathurst? A bunch of us go once a month to watch Docs and struggle to find anything good. Sadly we tried Paupers Pub, which was bad even for pub food. Eating with one vegi friend. Thanks ----- |

Thanks TorontoJo. Funny my initial search for Aquila must have been misspelled because it didn't turn up this thread. But I am still curious to know if people have eaten anything else from the menu. |

Has anyone eaten at Aquila restaurant on Keele at Dundas? Looks to be mostly Italian and I hear that they also smoke their own ribs. I have been curious to go. |
