Spacing plants in a raised-bed garden Great helpful forum I visit once in awhile: http://squarefoot.creatingforum.com/ Good spacing chart: http://www.mysquarefootgarden.net/pla... I have 2 square foot beds, much easier than in the ground gardening, it's helpful to prune the suckers off the tomatoes, they take up less space :) |

Hi I made a stab at making sweep steak - found it in the I hate to cook book (love that book!) http://www.grouprecipes.com/40472/swe... tasted great out of the oven (which was very surprising-sounded too simple to work) but now the next day it is horribly dry-I would add it to the crock pot with a can of french onion soup but I already used dry onion soup when I baked the roast and am thinking that would be WAY too salty any tips on how to get this back to edible? Am thinking slowcooker but not sure what to put in it at this point because most things will make it overly salty - I would add wine but not everyone likes wine in their pot roast here. thanks! |

Thanks I just find adding oil to a pizza dough makes it flakier more like a greek crust but I know most loaf bread recipes contain oil, just wanted to be sure |
|

Sounds like a good recipe, did you find the oil added in made the buns a bit more like pastry? |

Thanks for the reply, so glad it isn't a nonstick or something like similar. yes it has that shiny black coating like the picture-the coating is almost similar to lacquer - there are scratches here and there on it too, almost looks like paint so wanted to be sure before using it... will season it the way you described Thanks! |

from the replies I guess a 'toaster oven' isnt any good for toast i have a hamilton beach oven that I love but it doesnt even have a toast setting ! http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/products... that said any recommendations on a slot toaster that is reliable and not $100 or more? I bought one that looked nice but it broke in less than a year and it was only $20 which is all it was worth |
