Staying at the Intercontinental Park Lane and looking for some fun, interesting dining spots around town and don't mind venturing out of neighborhood. Somewhere for 2 young at heart 50 year old jaded New Yorkers who like rock n roll music, good food and a fabulous atmosphere. |

I am following up on my pre theatre dinner last night at The Lambs Club Bar. The crowd was energetic, the bar was crowded, the noise level lively, and overall, a nice looking well-behaved professional after work crowd. |

Tough to get a last minute res but snagged one at The Lamb's Club Bar. It looks perfect for 2 very tired NY'ers who need a mid-week break. |

My husband & I are looking for an outing tomorrow and thought we might go to Sunday Dinner, Italian style in the Arthur Ave. area. Is it worth the trip out of Manhattan? Any ideas or thoughts out there, Hounds? |

Do any Hounds out there know where I can buy some Sucrine aka little gem lettuce? I got hooked on it in CA and now that I'm home, I can't find it. |

Middle Eastern/Western Asian food near High Line? Anyone out there know of an Armenian//Western Asian restaurant near the High Line? |

I"m taking out a friend for her 50th birthday after work. We'll stop at the Red Lion for Happy Hour, then out for tapas afterward. We want good tapas, somewhere not overrun with skinny jeans and college students, good sangria, and a more adult (but not stuffy) crowd. We want fun and good food on an early Friday evening. ----- |

Has Anyone out there used a caterer in the Vegas area? I'm looking for a caterer that can come to my rental home on a Sunday afternoon in October with fabulous food and a bar b que some interesting meats for a group of about 4o family members. We are an Italian/Armenian family and enjoy good Mediteranean meats, cheeses, olives, salads & breads. I'll also need some extra staff to keep the place tidy and to fix drinks. Is it best to contact one of the better restaurants and just have them do it? Any suggestions? |

Well, I want it to be a real NY experience for our guests & their children so in this context it means , a good vibe, good music, drinks for the adults, and decent food that we can all enjoy that they won't get in MD. We had the whole MD crabbing, preparation, and eating experience at their place on the Chesapeake over the summer so we want to recipricate their hospitality and show them a good time. |

I'm looking for a family friendly place for us to bring 4 tweens and 2 sets of 40 something parents where we can all enjoy a good dinner, drinks or decent glass of wine and perhaps some live music (that's not rap) or good DJ music that we can all enjoy. Downtown, Chinatown, Village, pub/restaurant? What do you think? Does such a place exist? I'd love your help on this. |

My Sis & I are planning a birthday for Dad's 80th and want a place that has good food, great service and can accommodate about 50 people for a Sunday brunch/lunch for family & friends between the ages of 10 and 80+ . We're from NYC So we're not easily sticker- shocked but want value. I'm looking for an interesting venue that can accommodate us. Any suggestions out there? |
